Josefina Luna
Founder & Operations Manager

Josefina Luna is a world citizen born on the Dominican Republic’s north coast. She is a CERO founder and current CFO and Operations Manager. She studied education and worked as a teacher for 15 years before moving to Boston in 1993. From her mother, Josefina learned to plant trees. She felt the satisfaction of having a garden in the yard with abundant food for her family. She learned to love and respect her environment and has been an environmental activist ever since.
Rhina Luna
Data & IT Manager

Rhina Luna fulfills many roles at CERO, including managing databases, hauling logistics and billing. Rhina is particularly passionate about the opportunities CERO creates for members of the Boston communities she grew up in. She believes deeply in CERO’s mission to provide good-paying jobs that empower Bostonians who face an opportunity gap to access meaningful work. She is passionate about environmental justice and emphasizes the importance of providing people with living-wage jobs in the green economy.
Deborah Gesualdi
Sales Team Manager

Deb Gesualdi manages the sales and customer service teams at CERO. She's a passionate people manager with over 20 years of experience. She graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Management Information Systems. As the hiring manager for a local start-up, Deb was recognized by The Workplace Boston for placement services and dedication to hiring workers from Boston communities that have been faced with obstacles to economic success.
Antonio Araujo
Worker Owner & Driver

Antonio Araujo is the newest worker-owner at CERO Co-op. He is a CDL-licensed truck driver in charge of the daily operations for the trucks that carry CERO’s compost totes. He organizes the pick ups for compost hauling and performs general maintenance on CERO's fleet.
