CDL Truck Driver Wanted
Boston based worker owned cooperative seeks responsible professional CDL truck driver 20-40 hours per week, for growing organic waste collection business. Job requires up-to-date medical card and references of professional driving experience.
The right person for this job is ready to work early mornings, perform physical labor such as moving and cleaning equipment.
Must get along well with team members and customers, have an excellent driving record and temperament for engaging in a diverse workplace.
Hours: 20 plus hours to start, increasing with experience and business growth.
Pay: Experienced CDL drivers will be paid $20/hr. to start, eligible for increases after probationary period.
Must have a current valid CDL truck driver’s license, excellent driving record and a minimum 2 years experience driving trucks.
Professional skills - clean personal presentation, must wear uniform and safety equipment provided, reliable attendance is required.
Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and be consistent in responding to telephone, text and email communications.
Referrals from previous employers are required.
Able and willing to do physical labor that includes moving heavy containers, industrial cleaning and working with food waste in varied weather conditions.
Experience working with community based organizations and/or interest in working in a cooperative business preferred.

Job Objective: The CERO Cooperative Customer Success Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining positive relationships and great outcomes for CERO customers.
We aim for 100% retention with Customers who love our CERO service and our mission centered brand.
Train to serve as lead CERO representative with large institutional customers.
Respond to and resolve direct customer communications in coordination with Operations and other CERO teams to promote timely satisfaction.
Conduct consistent site visits to maximize compost diversion, source separation quality, and customer satisfaction
Ensure high quality delivery of CERO services including composting program set up, on-site customer training, conduct scheduled waste audits, materials characterization study, and monthly weight reviews
Participate in weekly Sales Team meetings
Conduct additional tasks and provide written reports as requested by the Sales Team Manager
Complete data entry tasks as necessary, assigned by Data Manager and Sales Team Manager
Required Skills and Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional personal presentation and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a broad range of people
Ability to organize and confidently make presentations in customer meetings and training sessions, etc.
Ability to maintain accurate records and written reports
CERO is a Worker Cooperative business and the Customer Satisfaction Coordinator is a worker-owner track position. Attaining worker-ownership requires
Active participation and support as needed with all CERO Teams
Active participation in co-op educational programs
Thorough understanding of CERO’s mission, goals, and our co-op’s connection with a larger solidarity movement to build a sustainable and equitable local economy
Enthusiasm to learn and participate effectively in our worker cooperative model and in the development of a cooperative organizational culture
Upon completion of the probationary period, all worker-owners accept modest payroll deductions toward fulfilling their worker-owner investment share in the co-op.
